Mouse button 'Back/Forward' not working in 'New Teams'

I've for me this issue is now resolved - I have teams version 26213.1006.5014.9784, and can use my mouse back/forward navigation buttons.
I can't find any clear documentation/changelog from Microsoft stating this.

It's working for me too. I was finally able to remove the workaround from my Logi Options+ app for my mouse.
It may have taken 2 years, but Microsoft fixed it, so credit where it's due I suppose. Although I've never had issues with simple stuff like this in Slack or Discord... just sayin'.
