Microsoft Teams profile screen email address
I have an issue concerning my profile screen name within Microsoft Teams. I have recently changed my email address in my Microsoft account but my old email address is showing in my Microsoft Teams account profile. This email doesn't exist for me anymore. Is there something I need to do to change this or is this a bug issue?

Hello Douglas,
I understand that there is a mismatch between your Microsoft Team's profile email address and your Microsoft account's email address. To narrow down the issue, I would like to collect the following info:
1. Are you the owner of your Microsoft Teams or a guest/member?
2. Are you using Microsoft Teams for Free or Office365 Microsoft Teams subscription?
3. Is the old email address also displayed in your Microsoft Team's web version?
4. Could you please provide me screenshots of the old email address in your Microsoft Teams profile as well as your new Microsoft account's email address? You can show partial email address and mask out the rest to conceal personal information in the screenshots.
Your patience and cooperation are highly appreciated.
Best regards,
Ruhua

Hi Douglas2020,
Ruhua Shen MSFT has replied to your question Microsoft Teams profile screen email address in Microsoft Community.
Hello Douglas,
I have also tried changing my Microsoft account's email address and checked my Teams(free) profile. I am able to reproduce the same result as you have. Since Microsoft Teams for free version offers limited admin settings, Owner of a team is unable to change his/her Teams profile's email address manually. It got me thinking it might be a replication delay between Microsoft Account and Microsoft Teams for free. I would suggest wait up to 24 hours and check the Teams profile again.
Furthermore, since this is a Microsoft Teams for free issue, and our community focuses on Teams (commercial and EDU use), I would like to encourage you post the same question in Microsoft Tech Community for Microsoft Teams. Members there are specialized in Microsoft Teams for free version.
Thank you for your understanding.
Best Regards,
Roger
