Microsoft Teams is now available on Linux
MS Teams can not be executed on our current Linux OS firmware, it shows no space left, therefore it seems require some space to save their data. How to specific the path of saved data?
- Hi,
The specific requirements to install Teams on Linux is here
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/hardware-requirements-for-the-teams-app#hardware-requirements-for-the-teams-desktop-app-on-a-linux
How to install it is here
https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/pureinfotech.com/install-microsoft-teams-linux/amp/
Would check you have space left on the disk
https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.maketecheasier.com/fix-linux-no-space-left-on-device-error/%3famp
This will show you how to free up some space

Hope that helps and answers your question!

ChrisHoardMVP Thank you !
The information you provided seems not able to makes our system to execute the MS Teams normally. Our root directory is a chroot jail, we need to know how to specific the path of saved data for MS Teams, or how to pass the space checking of Microsoft Teams.
- Hi Jesswang
In this case, the solution would be to open a ticket with Microsoft support. There is nothing at the moment in any of the MS documentation which suggests that a chroot jail scenario is one that is supported. It would be good to see their response: they should either come back with an answer to install it or request to raise a uservoice to support that scenario
Best, Chris
