Microsoft Teams desktop sharing delayed
Hello,
recently some colleagues have reported that they have severe problems with voice quality and delays between image and sound when screensharing.
I have looked at the calls in the Admin Portal and noticed that there is a problem with "Network stream from Service to User (desktop sharing)". The average jitter is over 6ms and the maximum over 80ms.
My question is, what does "Network stream from Service to User (desktop sharing)" even mean?
What is "service" in this case anyway?
Kind regards,

Hi uforum,
"Network stream from Service to User" should describe or mean the "Teams Backend Service". It's the connectivity between the user's client computer and the Teams service for app/desktop sharing.
Can the client reach all Office 365 URLs and IPs properly without any interception or connectivity degradation? It's key that the clients can connect and reach all Office 365 URLs and IPs, especially the ones for Skype For Business Online and Teams. - What sessions are affected? 1:1 or mulit-party/meetings?
- Did any change occur on the network/firewall or proxy?
- Did you run the Skype for Business / Teams Network Assessment Tool on the client/s to check if the connectivity from the client computer to Teams is alright? Download Skype for Business Network Assessment Tool from Official Microsoft Download Center
