Microsoft Teams backup with Commvault

We are trying to investigate exactly this question now. Over the last 4 weeks we've trialed 8 solutions that claim to have Teams backup (in addition to Exchange/SharePoint that everyone supports these days).

Most of the vendors support Teams in some limited way, and the most complete solutions we found is Veeam. Our preference is [strongly] towards cloud-to-cloud backup and we're currently deciding between AvePoint (https://www.avepoint.com/) and https://afi.ai/. AvePoint is a large vendor, however it does not backup auxiliary Teams data (like Teams OneNote, lists, etc). afi backs all Teams data like Veeam, but we understand they are a new and small vendor.

Let me know what solution you ended up using. In the light of Covid and remote work we'll have to make the decision soon...
