Microsoft Teams - Screen sharing in Teams/Skype for Business interop. Featured ID: 53934
in the o365 roadmap Featured ID: 53934 the following is launched.
However we are unable to share our screens with s4b users, unless we escalate the call to a teams meeting, which is not a solution for us ior the partners we work with. Could someone confirm if true screen sharing is available with Teams and s4b

Hi,
It is available but it is not like a call where you call from the Teams client to the Skype client. When you share your screen from Teams to a Skype user it will create a Teams meeting, the Skype user will be able to join the meeting from Teams web app and see the screen sharing. And when a Skype user shares their screen to a Teams user it will create a Skype meeting.
So this feature is "just" a button creating a meeting with some information text about how to join the meeting for screen sharing.
I wrote about it here.

thanks that's what I thought, but it is not a solution, it's just a workaround. I guess we have till 2021 to find a solution or drop teams for our VC collab. We have an excellent workflow with s4b, but it just doesnt work with Teams.
