Lost access to Teams org after changing MSFT account username
hagenlund Hi, sounds like a mess and I haven't heard that one before! First. Remove any alias in your personal Microsoft account so you're only using your primary address.
Then I suggest that you go https://portal.azure.com using InPrivate / Incognito and sign in with the account creating the free org. Take a look in Azure AD under Users how it looks and if possible remove the pending user invite.
If you by any chance would have to create a new Teams free org. you'll need to delete current one.

I've removed all my Microsoft account aliases, logged on to the Azure portal as CurrentUser@CustomOutlookDomain and deleted the external OldUsername@outlook.com user in there.
But when trying to log on to https://teams.microsoft.com/ as CurrentUser@CustomOutlookDomain, I still see the message "You are invited to Hagenlund". After I've clicked Continue I now see a different message, "Your invitation has been revoked".
So it seems that Teams is still confused or comingling my old alias\invite with my current username, the one that originally created the Org, and still I'm unable to access or delete the Org.
Could there be a way of Teams assigning usage rights to my own account through the Azure portal?
Or maybe there's a private version of the O365 Admin Portal that I would go to if this was a work issue?
- Hi! Forgot to mention. When the user is deleted, delete it from the recycle bin as well (in AAD). Then wait at least 24 hours because it takes 24 hours for it to be permanently deleted.

I've deleted the invite user from the recycle bin now, and I also found the Licensing menu where I could assign a free Teams license to myself as CurrentUser. No change in the Teams portal yet, but fingers crossed that I have access to my Org again tomorrow!
