Log in to own tenant (not guest) by default
Hi everyone
We have just rolled out MS Teams across the organisation, and have found that some users who have previous been given guest access have been logged into the other tenant when starting teams, and not our organisations tenant.
Just to be clear, they are using our organisations login details, but are presented with guest access on another tenant (eg Microsoft) rather than ours. Clearly they can change this from the drop down, but this is a user training consideration.
Is there any way to force a user to view our organisations tenant at every log in, and they can then use the drop down to move to guest access on another tenant if they choose?
I have tried searching but all the advice is around changing the default login, rather than the tenant that is viewed after logging in
Thanks in advance
- ChristianBergstromSilver ContributorHi, might not understand but Teams will always default to the domain-joined account. So what’s the scenario if these users sign out / sign in manually? (top right corner).
- DLef1201Copper ContributorThis is not factual. I am currently dealing with this where New Teams is signing a user into the Guest Tenant instead of their primary tenant. I am having to have them re-sign in every time to force it to switch. This is still an issue with New Teams.
