Live Events - Presenting and Control
Hi all,
How do you tackle who shares items to present in a Live Event? My initial thought was that it should be the producer.
If I'm the producer though and share a presentation on my second screen, that's fine but if I give control to a presenter, they take my mouse focus? I have to click to take it back and they would have to click their mouse if they wanted focus?
So I couldn't let a presenter work away, advancing slides or pointing to text and at same time say, chat to the next presenter in the Live Event chat? Is that right?
Or is it better for a presenter to share the presentation and give control to other people?

DaithiG I always refuse to do it as the producer, and require someone else to be in the meeting that is controlling the slides. There's plenty to do as producer, doing a slide change at the same time as scene change is too much.

StevenC365 DaithiG Hi there - for what it's worth, my group is producing a worldwide technical conference and we're letting the speakers control their own slides. Like Steve says, there's enough to do otherwise and the speaker knows the presentation the best.
