Keyboard navigation to "Type new message" box

Am I missing some shortcut or is there no way to navigate to the Message box for current Chat conversation?   When Teams is brought to the front i just want to type or to Ctrl+' (like VS Code to op...

You can see all the shortcut keys by typing /keys in the command bar in Teams

      ARIVERA512 Microsoft has changed their keyboard shortcuts for Teams at least 3-4 times in the last few years. As of today's date, 11-4-2024, the keyboard shortcut for getting to the message box is CTRL+R (or sometimes Enter). You used to be able to type "/" into the top search bar and see the options "slash options", such as "/keys" for viewing the current keyboard shortcuts, but that's been removed, too, it seems, and as of today's date it is currently CTRL+. (Control and Period together in case the font is hard to read).

       

      I won't try to guess what it'll be in a few months - none of the changes have been consistent or made any sense to me since the early to mid-2020 version of Teams, and the shortcuts are no longer consistent across Office apps, either, so guessing now wouldn't even be a good idea.
