After having this error for months I brought a new user on this week and they were able to update. Tested on existing devices going into add or remove programs uninstalling new teams app. Going back into old and using the slider to download new teams again. Once switched I now get that I have the latest client installed today. Time will tell if new updates can come down but it can connect now.

It looks like this issue has been fixed in the very latest release but needs a manual uninstall

Monehton, I'll be interested to hear how that does in the coming week. We are having the same issue as reported above. What would be nice is to have information about the service that is doing the updates, and the endpoints/URLS that the client is reaching out to pull these updates down. That way, we can more easily identify if security software is interfering. Our classic Teams client is not having difficulty pulling updates.

h892gu How's it going guys! I still get "Parameter is incorrect" errors after a day or two running New-Teams. Version 23272.2707.2453.769

However, on a Windows 11 Enterprise workstation, I have been running New-Teams since 10/13. Restarting, checking for updates, doing whatever I can to see if it'll throw that error. Works fine. That Win11 system does get all the same Domain GPO's that our standard systems get.

We're not ready to move to 11 just yet. I just wanted to share that info.
