Importing datafile in SPSS format onto Microsoft Teams
Hi,
Our team is in the process of transitioning our project folders into Microsoft Teams. One hurdle we encountered was uploading or importing an SPSS file (datafile) that's not supported by Microsoft Teams.
Is there a way we can upload this format into Microsoft Teams and allow other members to view/access it via this channel?
Thanks,
Tony
- Have you tried to upload the file through SharePoint instead through Teams?

Thanks jcgonzalezmartin! This works. One other question if you could help us with.
Is there a way to get the SPSS files or other third-party formats (e.g. adobe) sync like with Microsoft files? The only way we can think of is re-uploading the file everytime someone updates it.
- It really depends on the third party app, Microsoft provides that support for Office files and then for other file types if there is a partnership with the third party. For instance, PDF files and Autocad files can be edited directly from SharePoint, but this is because Adobe and Autodesk have worked with Microsoft to provide that support
