How to prevent user from accessing SharePoint Site that created from Teams

Hi, 

 

I have requirement for the customer where user can share file in Standard Teams Channel but cannot access to SharePoint site. I've tested for unassigned SharePoint Online license to user, but this user still able to access SharePoint Site. However, this user unable to share file to 1:1 Chat and unable to access the OneDrive site. 

 

Is there any setting should we do to prevent user from accessing to the SharePoint site? 

 

Any Help?

    Hello, you would need to configure the underlying SharePoint permissions for that site. As you've noticed users with no assigned SharePoint Online license don't have OneDrive for Business (not being able to share files in chats) but file sharing will continue to work in standard channels.

      ChristianBergstrom do you have any guide how to configured the SharePoint permission? 

      Yes I've noticed users cannot share files in 1:1 Chats, However users can share, download and edit files in Teams Channels. It's correct? 

       

      Do you have any recommendation to meet this customer's requirement?
