Windows Credential Manager is one place, I suggest clearing two more folders:
%localappdata%\Microsoft\OneAuth
and
%localappdata%\Microsoft\IdentityCache
This often resolves authentication problems as well, like being logged out regularly for no reason

Thank you so much! Of the million or so (LOL) posts on this issue, yours was the one that worked! Clearing out the two folders you mentioned above did the trick. Didn't have to touch credentials manager, reset Teams or delve into the registry.
