How do I stop "out of office and may not respond" notifications in Teams chat?

Hi, I don't mind getting these (the ones that appear in a colored bar immediately above the field where I write messages) one time, but after I click the X to remove it, it comes back at various times while that person or persons remain out of office. Is there a way to have it only appear once? Or, if not, is there a way to just have it not appear at all? Everybody on my team knows when somebody is out.

I should never have to "X" off the same notification more than once per day. I have had to close the same notification 6 times in my first hour of work today.

2025 ... and still not fixed. The feedback link says "You have been blocked" in the breadcrumbs. What's the problem, Microsoft? People hate your asinine UX, so you block the feedback?

Add this to the long list of reasons I hate Teams.

369mikewrite I find this very annoying too. When I press the X to remove it it should remember that I removed it and not keep coming back...

VasilMichev MS removed the ability to create feedback (probably very angry people) so the links in this thread are all bad.

Add to this annoyance the "how was the call quality" BS.
