How do I know when a new client version is released?

Hi, we've packaged up a version of MS Teams client to our software centre and have been caught out with a later release. It would be nice to be alerted to changes in some way. Is that possible?

Thanks, Darrel

DazzaR I don't think there is any underlying service to subscribe to for this. Teams' update cadence is every two weeks and I don't believe there are any separate channels (monthly, 6 months, etc.) for this. The client is built to update itself, so if it can be just left to do what it's built to do then less management of deploying the versions for administrators.

This page has change descriptions for the updates and it's the only one that I know of.

    Hi Darrel,

there is no way that I'm aware of to get alerted.
Consider your SCCM package as a base release.
If you users install the client it will auto update afterwards.
You should update your sccm package from time to time to ensure the release is not to old.
