Having issues signing into a yealink teams room panel
- Feb 20, 2023
Acasey80 Exact same issues with our devices. The only thing that changed recently was the type of license as the Teams licensing was changing.
Did you find a solution in the end?
We have Intune, but I have signed out the account everywhere I could think of
Firstly, you'll need a standard or Pro license for your Teams room now.
Next in InTune, go into your Devices and then into Android Enrollment. Scroll to the bottom and in the section that says "Android Device Administrator" click the "Personal and Corporate Owned Devices" and tick the box in here to "Use Device Administrator to manage Devices". Sign into your device again and you should be golden!

Worked like a charm for us, several Yealink A20+CTP18 & A30+CTP18 with the same problem after doing firmware upgrades & Teams App updates.
The problem was not Yealink related, it is the Teams App version combined with the Intune Android settings ChrisCurtisIT mentioned:

- PetrixJun 29, 2023Copper ContributorYes, after the updates to the ROOM SYSTEMS (A20+CPT18), the systems are working with Basic. The issue is the ROOM PANEL not working with the Basic license. Like i said i have had that option tick for about 5 years now. I what to try Teams Shard Devices license but not yes, I wait for the Standard one to expire completely 🙂 and then start other 30 days trail :P. Tnx guys.
- ONorthoJul 20, 2023Copper ContributorThis was the fix for me too, A20. just updated firmware and suddenly getting error in OP. All sorted with your fix, thanks!

Even though we have NO Intune configuration for Android devices, so in theory they should not even be attempting to find the company portal....your solution was successful for us, with our 3 Crestron TSS-1070 panels. THANK YOU!

This solution worked today for a Yealink Room Panel (android based, with Teams software) even though Intune is also not setup on the tenant with the Teams Pro license on it for the user account for the device. Tried all the same things first - factory reset, etc. Thank you for solution - would have not guessed this setting change on my own. Weirdly, client says Room Panel Teams login problem started a couple of days ago, when they enabled, and then disabled, MFA for all Azure user accounts, except they say that they excluded the user accounts for the four Teams devices with Pro licenses.

Robin160 doest it work even your intune havent configured? Just tick the box?
I have a case now, My client havent really configured the intune. The Panel keep showing the you've already sign in issue. I tried the Crestron Demo account and it works, obviously its the account that is having the issue.
So on this case, can we just tick the box eventough the intune is not using/not configured yet?
Thanks!

- Unforgiven23Mar 21, 2023Copper ContributorWords cannot express how happy I am to see this post. This totally was the fix on my Crestron devices. Microsoft support was continually telling me that I needed to engage Crestron directly to have them tell me how to reset the device (after I had already factory reset it over and over again).
I've been frustrated with this since January and FINALLY someone has some answers. Thank you so much! - pjamiesJun 27, 2023Copper Contributor
ChrisCurtisIT .. Hello Chris, so this is the exact issue we are having at the moment. We have a Polycom teams conference system that is getting that exact error. We also just had a Polycom CCX500 teams phone do the same thing. We also did not have that Android device Administrator check box mark checked. My question is: we have lots of these sorts of devices running successfully without this issue, do you know if we turn this option On if it will mess up any of these other devices?? thx

pjamies Hi! We had 1 device that was working with 4 others not (we also have 100+ Teams Phones), when i checked this box, they all started working with no complications or issues anywhere else. So As far as I am aware and from my experience we have had no issues.
Thanks,
Chis

- dunhamjAug 16, 2023Copper ContributorAfter a couple hours of trying various solutions, this fixed the issue for me. Was stuck with my admin panel showing "Signed out" as the active user and was unable to sign in since "another account is already signed in". Thankfully this little check box solved the problem and my conference room is back in business.

Hi,
i am resolving same issue in my company tenant. My question is - when we have all other devices onboarded using Android Enterprise (BYOD), will NOT checking this box "Use device administrator to manage devices." fck my devices? We have over 2K of them, so it would be unfortunate.
Thank you.
