kmcgraw There will be a new meeting code and passcode added to each meeting requests that can be used just like it is in other platforms <cough>zoom<cough>. Current date in the desktop client is the first half of July in the desktop version, I'm not sure of what date it will come to MTR but won't be far later. I also know that Microsoft are working with Zoom to bring their join by code feature to the direct-join capability on MTRs.
kmcgraw Join by code is coming soon, however proximity join will already allow your users to bring a meeting to the space by starting it from their laptop or phone on the nearby device.
As far as I know there is no chance of Microsoft adding H323, CVI is the solution they chose for integration with standards based VC meetings.
- kmcgrawJun 08, 2022Copper Contributorwhen you say join by code.... there is no 'meeting id' for teams, so what code are you referring to?
and the no chance is what i was afraid of... it really makes the conference room space a huge headache for everyone (i know you don't work for msft)- StevenC365Jun 08, 2022MVP
