Guests can't share / create whiteboard
As a guest in a few organizations & I'm unable to start a whiteboard in any of them:
Why is this? I assume there's a configuration option that controls this? Is there a limitation w/ guests in Teams?

Hello spottedmahn , To configure a guest in Microsoft Teams to be able to start a whiteboard session, you need to ensure that the guest user has the necessary permissions. By default, guest users have limited access in Teams, so you'll need to adjust their settings. Here's how you can configure it:
1. Open Microsoft Teams and sign in with your admin or host account.
2. Go to the "Admin center" by clicking on your profile picture in the top-right corner and selecting "Admin center" from the dropdown menu.
3. In the Admin center, navigate to "External access" from the left-hand menu.
4. Under "External access settings," make sure that external access is enabled. This allows guest users to join Teams meetings and collaborate.
5. Scroll down to "Guest access" and ensure that it is enabled. This allows guests to access various features in Teams, including the whiteboard.
6. Return to the main Teams interface and navigate to the specific team where you want to enable whiteboard access for guests.
7. Click on the ellipsis (...) next to the team name and select "Manage team" from the dropdown menu.
8. In the team management window, go to the "Settings" tab.
9. Scroll down to "Guest permissions" and make sure that "Create and edit" is enabled for the whiteboard option.
10. Click "Save" to apply the changes.
Now, guests in the team should be able to start and participate in whiteboard sessions. They can access the whiteboard by clicking the "+" icon in the Teams chat or meeting window, selecting "Whiteboard," and choosing the "Start a new whiteboard" option.
It's worth noting that the ability to configure guest access and permissions may require administrative privileges within your organization's Teams environment. If you don't have the necessary permissions, you may need to contact your organization's IT or Teams administrator for assistance.
