False positive: Teams can't hear you
- Oct 29, 2021My conclusion is that there is no option to turn of this warning, and the algorithm behind the warning does not take into account the model of the microphone.
I have the same problem, but this is worse than reported. My mic has its own hardware mute button, which I prefer to use. So the fact that Teams can't hear anything is EXPECTED since my mic is muted. The constant message about "Teams can't hear you" is super annoying. Why not spend 1 hour of dev and add a setting to TURN THAT MESSAGE OFF??!!
Microsoft never thought of this scenario, and apparently none of their 100,000 employees have a mic that mutes.

I'm in the same boat. I have a hardware mute that is very convenient to use and I'm getting this message constantly. Given that Teams is a Microsoft product it's not too surprising to me.

AnthonyNYC Didn't this all get fixed when they added the option to disable noise suppression and Auto Adjust Mic Sensitivity ?
