Excel Macros with file dependencies

Hi, if I share an Excel file with macros on teams, under the Files tab, will the macros run?

What if I have an main excel file whose macro reads data from other secondary excel files and writes data into a word document, if I share all the files (main and secondary files), in teams, will the macro work properly?
