Edit is not working intermittently for MS files trying with URL generated from graph preview API

We have generated the preview URL(https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/api/driveitem-preview?view=graph-rest-beta) using preview beta API and trying edit using that URL but its not working for MS files.

This behaviour is intermittent.

This is working fine for word and excel files and not working for ppt, previously it was not even working for word/excel.
