Easily/quickly find links to documents
I often face this pattern:
1 Search for file in unified search bar at top.
2 Switch to Files (see picture).
3 Right click on the document or open it up.
So now I have found the document, but I want to grab the link to the document so I can add it to an index of all files, or add it to an email, or whatever.
Why can't I do this?
- Bad design basically. Hopefully some search improvements come out. But your only way I can see to get link would be to click the .... on the far right when clicking the document and "Open in SharePoint", you can then use the Copy link, or Share to get a link to the document using "People with existing access" or get a link type depending on permission needing to grant.

I am glad someone will just come out and say that it is bad design. Why in the world would you NOT have a get link on the right-click contextual menu when searching for files?
And it gets even worse. I am using the Mac Beta of O365, and in that the ... on the right hand side doesn't even have an Open in Sharepoint.
What I have resorted to is to start a conversation and then select attach file and I will see recent files, and then click on the link from there.
Teams is sooo good in many ways, and sooo bad in a some few other ways.
