duplicate account

Hi i wrote myself a message on Teams from my Phone on my Laptop. And with this it created me automatically a second Account with an new E-mail. In the E-mail it switched just my names before the @ sign. The IT support from my school said to mee they deleted the account but he is still available... Someone knows what the problem is? And how i can delete this account so no confusion can happen again?

    amelie0000 Hi, I am not sure typing a message could automatically generate a second account but I suppose stranger things have happened.

     

    With regards to the two accounts, could you possibly screenshot where you are seeing the two entries side by side. Appreciate if you are unable to blur out any sensitive information and cannot do this. I just really want to get to the bottom of this.

     

    I am also conscious and depending on the timeframe from when the account was deleted and you tried again, it could just be a timing issue?
