Document content incomplete

Hello... I uploaded a document to Teams, and when I opened it I was surprised that entire sections of the document are missing. In addition, the header and footer are not showing. If I download the document the missing section is back, and the headers and footer showing. Is there a setting that is somehow incorrect? 

...any help is appreciated.
