Default email domain change has broken all MS Teams chat file links

Hi all, i'm hoping there's an easy resolution here. We changed default email domains on our tenant a few weeks ago and now it seems that all files shared in MS Teams chats have broken links. This is ...

OK, and are these 1:1 chats or group chats, or a mix of both?

    I'm not aware of any way you can control the behaviour of these links I'm afraid.

      Oh well. Thanks for taking the time to respond Peter! Hopefully someone see's this as a valid use case to fix when changing default emails on a tenant.

        We are running into the same, but we are talking about hundreds of files that are being shared back and forth. Did you ever find a truly workable solution?
