DrJoel Sorry nothing useful, other than to mention Teams is soon to rollout a new codec for voice called Satin that has incredibly low bandwidth requirements and tolerance for latency and packetloss.
Other than that try ordering Starlink 🙂
StevenC365 : maybe they could have the very slow lady speak faster, or maybe just say "muted" and "unmuted", after the 100th time they gave you the full instructions on how to mute or unmute?
