Data Refresh for Excel Files Shared in Teams

I have a Teams account through my company.  I want to share Excel files that have Access queries tied to them.  The Access database queries on stored on our local company server.  

 

When I share the file internally from OneDrive, users are able to refresh the queries with no issue.  However, if I drag the file to Teams, a refresh of the query gives a "Data Refresh Failed" error.  

 

Any suggestions on how to get internal files to refresh on Teams when using Teams internally?

      I'm not exactly sure what you mean.  I opened Sharepoint.  I see the files.  Opening them in a browser from Sharepoint gives the same error.  Are you suggesting the user download the file and try to update the data?
