Custom backgrounds?
- Mar 23, 2020No, it is not rolled out yet and no public ETA.
AtanasioG Thanks so much for your time. I've gotten it to work, though it wasn't a direct route for me. I first moved ALL the files from the Backgrounds folder into the uploads subfolder (which was empty). Then I tried to fire up a meeting, though being a novice, the easiest thing for me to do was to just create a team with no other members. I fired up a video chat and the program quit a couple of times. I moved the files that had been in stalled by the program *back into the backgrounds folder and things went much better, with the files accessible from both folders. I did notice though the images are reversed when displayed... at least in my one-person meetings. I guess I'll have to flip them in photoshop for this purpose.
You've been tremendously helpful, and I very much appreciate it. Soon I'll marshall my strength and go look for the OneDrive group... hoo boy I have some issues there. Thank you again.
you're very welcome, I too am sort of new to Teams, I recently upgraded our ORG from Skype for Business to Teams. there are some good this about it, but it lacks a lot.. hopefully MS will get it all worked out.
regarding the images showing backwards, that is normal, the other end will see it correctly. if you flip it, then the people see you will see your background the way that you are currently seeing it now.
hope that makes sense.
