Continuous audio hickups during meeting
Hi all,
maybe someone can help?
I am using the Teams Web Client in Chrome 79, Linux 64-bit. In Team Meetings, I continuously experience audio hick-ups - short periods of lag (perhaps 200ms in length) that disturb the audio stream. This happens nearly perfectly every 3000-3200ms and I see a corresponding spike in the CPU monitor, caused by Chrome. I already tried closing all other applications and all other tabs, but unfortunately that did not help.
All this makes following somewhat bigger meetings (5+ persons) painful (at best) through impossible (at worst).
Does anybody experience similar issues? Do you have an idea what I could try to improve audio stability?
Thanks in advance

Trying the Teams desktop client, I find that the meetings work flawlessly so far. Unforunately, the client brings other issues, no multiple views / windows being the most annoying. So my current solution is using the desktop client for meetings and the web interface for all else.
We are waiting for a feature that will allow you to pop out a window from the Teams client, I don't know much more about it but that might help you if that feature also comes to the Linux client. And I hope it will work for more type of windows than just the chat window.
