Need to make sure if that everyone using desktop version to try to coauthor is on the latest version of Pro-Plus. If anyone is using older office versions it could be causing issues with this.

- Not Teams, make sure people aren't opening in Desktop App and they are using older versions of Office trying to edit, that usually would be the issue here.
