Classic Teams Version 1.6.00.33862 (64-bit) last updated on 12/6/2023 breaks video feed
HelloLucian_C
welcome to the Microsoft community, my name is Recep I'll be happy to help you today.
I understand that classic teams break video feed. I suggest you try the following.
1. Please make sure your Teams and System are up to date.
2. Go to Windows Settings > Privacy > Camera and check whether the option Allow apps to your camera and Allow desktop apps to your camera are turned on.
3. Please check whether you can have a video call in https://teams.microsoft.com/.
4. Update all of your drivers. To do that, the steps are as follows:
a. Right click on Starthttps://filestore.community.support.microsoft.com/api/images/519176c3-e5df-4873-9d7e-ff1543345665?upload=true button and select Device Manager.
b. In Device Manager, under Cameras, right-click on your camera/webcam from the list and select Update driver.
c. You may find a pop-up window will appear that asks whether to Search automatically for the updated driver software or Browse my computer for driver software. You can choose the first one. If any driver updates are available, it will be automatically installed.

Hello Deleted ,
And thank you for your time.
My system, Teams and drivers (nVidia) are up to date and web version of Teams is also working without any problem.
My privacy camera settings allow both "Microsoft Teams (work or school)" and from section "Let desktop apps access your camera" also the "Microsoft Teams classic". I have even switched them off and on again because I have found some articles recommending this.
About "disabling GPU hardware acceleration", I don't know how this would help or how to do this only on "Classic Teams" as web Teams is working, "new Teams" is also working and all the other "meeting applications" have no issues... so the problem is related directly/only to "classic Teams" app where no preiew available (even in meeting)
Any other ideas?
Kind Regards,
Lucian

HelloLucian_C
Thank you very much for your email response.
. Disable GPU Hardware acceleration- In Teams, click your icon/photo.
- Choose Settings.
- In Settings, in tab general, enable Disable GPU hardware acceleration.
- While you're here, also disable Register Teams as the chat app for Office…
- Restart Teams. Please note that Teams runs in the background.

Hello Deleted ,
And thank you again for your time explaining how to find the "Disable GPU hardware acceleration" in Teams.
Unfortunately, even restarting the PC, no video on "classic Teams". 😟
All the other apps don't have any issue.
Is there any way to roll back to an older version of Teams (prior december 6th)?
L.E.: I have even used the https://github.com/asheroto/UninstallTeams to "clean uninstall" Teams... but after reinstalling I have the same issue.
Kind Regards,
Lucian
