Chat, video call and record? Transition to teams from Skype

I use Skype to teach private lessons. I write notes in the chat so students have a log of notes and I record parts of a meeting to further help them. I have had to set up a Teams business account in order to record as personal doesn't offer this but I can't add my students who have their own personal log in details. How do I add my students to my business account so that I can chat to them privately, do one to one video calls and record parts of my lesson just like Skype?
