Can't get my Teams calendar to start on a Monday when showing the whole week
I have ensured the language is set to English (UK), I've logged into to Office 365 directly and set the starting day of the week to Monday, selected the tick boxes that say the working week is Monday - Friday and yet my teams calendar still starts on a Sunday if I select whole week! (I need to have weekends up as there are sessions that happen at weekends, even if I am not necessarily working at them).
Any tips?!
Thanks in advance
- AndersE0601Copper ContributorI have the same problem. I want the MS Teams Calendar to start on Monday. I have made my Outlook to start on Monday and have set language and regional settings to Swedish/Sweden (which should have imposed Monday - Sunday), but MS Teams calendar remains unchanged.
- jeppeolandCopper ContributorJust updated to "New Teams" and seeing this issue too 😞
- Hello,
Tested this several times with different results, I set the starting day to Monday in Outlook web and it seems that setting is honored by Teams Calendar, but with mixed results between web and desktop. - Christopher_StahleCopper ContributorI am having the same problem as you all.

I have the same problem with my desktop work/school Teams app. Its language setting is set to English (UK), and in my Microsoft 365 account I have also set Display and Preferred Languages to English (UK). In Outlook Web, the starting day is set to Monday.
I would LOVE the developers of the app to include a simple option to choose the starting day of the week.
- CarolineSCopper ContributorI too have moved to new Teams and now my week starts on a Sunday - how do I change this.
It must be a setting, as my partner, in another org, has the same issue.. Fix please.. - EduardoSilvaLopezCopper Contributor
Same problem here. Please help.
- RGzibCopper Contributoryeah, all the solutions I found are saying: go to work week view... but I need a full week and start from Monday at least, or any other day I pick.

Note: For some reason, the calendar setting on your PC controls the Teams calendar. Here’s how to fix it:
Go to Settings on your PC:
- Click on the Start menu and select the gear icon to open Settings.
Navigate to Time & Language:
- In the Settings window, find and click on "Time & Language."
Go to Language & Region:
- On the left sidebar, click on "Language & Region."
Adjust Region Format:
- Scroll down to the "Region" section and click on "Change data formats."
Change the First Day of the Week:
- Find the option for "First day of week" and change it to "Monday."
Restart Teams:
- Quit Microsoft Teams completely and restart it.
Voilà! The Teams calendar should now start on a Monday.
