Can't Edit OneNote notebook in Teams
We have a PLC Team that had a pre-existing OneNote added to it. This was not a Class Notebook, just a standard one. At one time I was able to edit the notebook right inside the Teams interface. I no longer can and have to open it in OneNote. The message across the top says: "To ensure the best possible experience for our users, OneNote will be read-only be default." See attached please.
What can I do to restore the ability to work in the OneNote inside Teams?
Thank you!
Alex
jaredhawk During these unprecedented times (with the extensive increase using cloud services) they're just making minor temporary adjustments to some services and apps within Microsoft 365.

alexmbraden Hello, this is a change in behavior and has been published as "Awareness of Microsoft 365 temporary feature adjustments" in the Message center (MC207439).
OneNote:
- OneNote in Teams will be read-only for commercial and education tenants. To edit, please use OneNote for the web or the OneNote desktop app.
- Download size and sync frequency of file attachments has been changed.

ChristianBergstrom Why would Microsoft do that? Why have teams if it can't be interactive?
