Can't add a guest user to a Shared Channel
We have lots of teams and channels and also guests in our tenant. Now, I have a team with a shared channel with a partner and all are set up in B2B and working fine for some users from our partner b...

"In the Teams admin center, when adding an external participant who also has a guest account in your organization, you must search on ext:email address removed for privacy reasons to get the external participant's organization account rather than the guest account."

Thanks but I get an error message when I do that.
Can I do something else? Do I need to remove the guest account?
If so, what will happen?
