Cannot switch from teams tenant anymore?

DonaemouS I experienced the same behavior (working as normal on the web). It was resolved by manually logging out of the Teams client, shutting it down and doing a new sign in. Perhaps you've already tried that, but wanted to share my solution.
Strange! Can you switch from the web client?
adam deltingeroh sure, in fact, I'm using the web client now, but is the desktop "quarantine" that I do not like!!!
