Cannot Share Files/Photos to External Users on MacOS/Web Teams

I cannot figure out the issue, please help! I cannot share screenshots with an external user through chat on macOS and web Teams client. However, I am able to share photos with the same person via iOS Teams Client, as you clearly see the photo button. Again, the same external user, different platform. See the photos below:

 

 

I double-checked all of the policies in the admin setting but cannot figure this out. Any help would be appreciated.

    stephenwithph Did you ever resolve this? I am an external user for an org I consult for and this is a huge frustration.

      skinet Teams does now allow file sharing via chat to external users. If the organisation added you as a guest user then you would be able to share files, or added you to a shared channel.

       

      What is allowed is images embedded into messages, as stephenwithph observed from the iOS client, you can get the same with desktop/web by pasting an image into a conversation.
