im facing the same issue in macOS and a Philips 272B7QUBHEB Monitor.
Camera freezes instantly after the call ist started. I can fix this problem by starting the Apple "PhotoBooth" app, but this isn't a good workaround.
We definetely need the Microsoft Support to help us with this.
IT-Nerd , I've had the exact same issue with my Philips 272B7QUBHEB Monitor. I've contacted my regional Philips support desk how provided me with a tool to flash the latest firmware on the monitor. This resolved the issue! I'd recommend to do the same.
- I tried the same, but in my case, it wasn't working. I'm in contact with a Philips technician and we are trying to find a solution. We have >70 monitors and most of them are having this issue. It's a huge problem because we planned to order a lot more of them... I think this could be also a macOS error, because sometimes we are facing this problem in Facetime too.
