Call forward landline to Teams

Hi

We are looking at updating our Teams account so we can make and receive external calls through Teams. As we are now all still working from home we were hoping to divert the office phone incoming calls to Teams. I just wanted to check if this was possible.

Thanks in advance. 🙂

  • Hello Christine,

There are multiple options available for your configuration.

    1. Purchase the Microsoft Calling Plans from Microsoft and port your DID to Microsoft and start making Inbound and Outbound calls from the Teams using your existing DID.

    2. Purchasing the Microsoft Calling Plans from Microsoft and assign New DID that can be acquired from Microsoft and forward your existing DID to new DID. You will receive all the Inbound Calls from Teams Application but when you make outbound calls the calls will show New DID.

    Hope that answers your questions.

If you are setup for pstn calling, i.e. your Teams can make phone calls and has a phone number, then you just forward to that number.
