Best fonts for PowerPoint that will be shared in Teams Video Call

We have several meetings a week where we use PowerPoint to present information over Teams video calls. We use the built in PowerPoint player, we do not share a screen/window/desktop.

We have noticed that the fonts used in the original presentation get changed when viewed in the Teams meeting. We are not too picky about exact fonts, but it is a problem with sizing, spacing, and layout are affected. 

 

Is there a list of supported fonts that will NOT get changed like this?

    Doug Eli I was having the same issue as you, but I found the solution. Here's what I did, let me know if it works for you:

     

    1. Open your PowerPoint presentation in PowerPoint
    2. Click "File"
    3. Click "Options" in the bottom-left
    4. Select "Save" from the left menu
    5. Check "Embed fonts in the file"
    6. Select "OK"
    7. Save your PowerPoint presentation

    Now when you share it in Teams, it should correctly show the font that you used.
