Assign Teams Phone Mobile number to user
I am piloting Teams Phone Mobile with Verizon. I have everything setup on Verizon's side. Now I want to assign this number to a user. First, I tried using admin center. I went to Voice > Phone Nu...
- So, I figured it out. I had to remove the calling plan license. Then it worked fine.

ok if your mobile numbers are issued by Verizon than no need for a calling plan . But the user needs a license to be able to dial from teams its called phone system license. you can assign the users the teams phone standard license or if you have E5 its already included in the features
- I'm using the "Microsoft Teams Essentials with Phone" license. My understanding is that it will work for this.
- its doesnt include the Teams Phone Standard license whichs needed to allow dial and receive calls via teams
