App availability - exclude a group
Hi all,
I have a use case to have an app be available on Teams for everyone, except a group of people. I know you can update app availability in Teams admin center, but it doesn't give me the option to exclude the group and make it available for all other users.
Is there a way to achieve this?

In Teams there isn’t a direct “everyone except this group” option, but you can get the same result by using app permission policies. The easiest way is to leave the global (org-wide) policy with the app allowed for everyone, then create a custom policy where the app is blocked and assign that policy only to the group you want excluded. That way, all users keep access by default, and only the group with the custom policy applied won’t see the app.
