A team without an owner notification
I wonder, is there a way an admin to get notified every time a team become ownerless ? Thanks
- AFAIK,no but you can get an overview in the steams portal and also run scripts that output this.
It turned out there is a way ... kind of
In AAD > Groups > Settings - Expiration there is a setting called
Email contact for groups with no owners
but it isn't clear if you need an expiration set first for this to work or not

There is also another option now, under the Microsoft 365 admin centre > Org settings > Ownerless Groups
When there is no owner, email and ask active group members to become an owner
