Map Views in SharePoint online
Hi GC005
Location is a standard column type in SharePoint online:
Here are a video tutorial about SharePoint List view with Maps/Location using Json formatting

Hi DaveMehr365 , Thanks for your input however, I don't have Bing maps and as far as I am aware they have been deprecated. Therefore, do I need to set up Azure maps and enable SharePoint map views based on those?
This is what I think needs to happen:
1. The latitude and longitude coordinates need to be set on sharepoint custom list items when the address is set - this is not happening currently because my site is not integrated with any maps Bing or Azure. For the coordinates to be set I need my SharePoint site integrated with Azure maps.
2. I suspect that once Azure maps are integrated with my SharePoint site and '1' above starts working so too will SharePoint 'map views' and I will be able to display multiple locations on a map using a custom list 'map view' - which is the ultimate goal of this whole exercise - I didn't state that very well in my original post - sorry for that.
NOTE I am able to display a single 'location' on a google map in most cases by building a URL with the address included and no coordinates.
The trail seems to stop at Bing maps - I don't have Bing maps and from what I can see 'new' connections to Bing maps from SharePoint on-line are no longer possible...
Is Azure map integration/set-up the solution here? If so, can someone please post tips for how to do that?
Thanks all in advance.
