MS Forms query
DingkunXie Whilst that is a valid point. We'd still prefer the submitters to receive an email to confirm we have received their response. Thank you though.
Another possible way is by using Power Automate flow -
1. sending response to excel https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-automate/forms/popular-scenarios?tabs=classic-designer#add-form-responses-to-an-excel-worksheet
2. sending emails to people in the excel worksheet - https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Power-Apps-Community-Blog/Power-Automate-Flow-Sending-emails-to-list-of-people-in-the/ba-p/1189517

It needs to go to the person who submitted the Form and because they are external/outside the organisation they are automatically filling in the form as 'anonymous.'
Thank you again though for sharing suggestions.- DingkunXieSep 14, 2023Microsoft
My understanding is that your form will have a question asking the respondent to provide their email address. The first flow aims to port the new response to an Excel worksheet in each row, and the second flow will read an Excel cell value containing the respondent's email address and send an email accordingly. I haven't tried it out, so I'm not sure whether it will work or not, but it's worth giving a try.
