How to update : when you submit this form, the owner will be able to see your name and email address

Hi there,

Does anyone know how to update the statement: When you submit this form, the owner will be able to see your name and email address?

We would like to customize this statement to our own privacy statement....

Thanks,

RX-78

    Hi,

We are also not using Microsoft Forms because of this reason only.
I am not sure if Microsoft has updated this functionality since 2021 or not ?

    Thanks

  • RX-78  Hi,

    Your idea is not acceptable!

Immediately after the availability of such a function - each user should opt out of filling out the Microsoft form -> it is obvious and does not require additional explanation!

No this is a genuine request. Word "Owner" is interpreted by users as company Owner and not form onwer.

kamleshwarsuri Microsoft has not updated this functionality. I agree that "form owner" or "form administrator" instead of "owner" would be much clearer.

We would also like this fixed. The grammar/punctuation is incorrect. Colleagues don't want to use MS Forms as a product because of that fact specifically.

dawoodfork I agree that the comma is there erroneously, but for colleagues not to use Forms at all just for that is a bit much. Don't forget that the development team for Forms is based in China, and even though I lived in Beijing in 1982/83 my grasp of Mandarin grammar is far from perfect. So although the grammar should be checked by a native English speaker it is what it is.
