Forms Quiz and collecting names outside my organisation
RobElliott
I created a survey for people within my organization and the names/emails of respondents was pulling in fine. I then changed it to allowing people outside of my organization to submit, but noticed that I am no longer getting the names/emails or respondents. Any way to go back and get this information?
sakindele no because you've changed the form to an anonymous form so it's stripped out the name and email data that was there. I would have created a copy of the form, and in the copy changed the settings to anyone can respond and sent out the link to that form to people outside the organisation, but left the original form as it was for internal people to complete.

sakindele because the form is now anonymous you won't be able to contact them unless you've saved the responses somewhere other than the excel file behind the form. That is why it is good practice - and something we always do at my company - to use a flow in Power Automate to save each form response automatically as it comes in to a list in SharePoint. Not only for audit reasons but it gives a backup in case issues like your happen.
