Change content of email notification of response received in Forms?
Hi, hoping that there might be a fix for this that I just haven't found yet. I have a form which staff have to fill in if they need cover at any point during the day. The form collects information including name, staff code, date and time cover is required and the reason it is needed. After the reason, is a box that asks for details rather than the generic bracket selected under reason (medical, meeting, personal etc). I receive a notification every time someone completes the form, but it only shows some of the answers they have given on the email. Can I adjust it somehow to include all of their answers in the notification?

- SaadMarkouCopper ContributorYou can adjust the notification settings in MS Forms to include all of the answers submitted by a responder in the email notification. By following these steps:
1. Open the form you want to edit and click "Responses" tab.
2. Click "3 dot icon" at the top-right corner of the screen and select "Settings".
3. In the "Settings" window, scroll down to "Responses" section and turn on the toggle switch for "Email notification to owners".
4. Click "Edit" button next to "Email notification to owners".
5. In the "Edit notification email" window, click "Add dynamic content" (the "fx" icon) at the top of the window.
6. Select the "Answers" option from the drop-down list.
7. In the "Dynamic content" pane on the right side of the window, you can select and drag any answer field you want to include in the email notification.
Make sure to include the answer field for the "Details" question, so that it is included in the email notification.
8. Customize the email message to your preference, and click on "Save" to save the changes.
Now, whenever someone completes the form, you will receive an email notification that includes all the answers they provided, including the details field.
I hope I helped you!- Tammyj79Copper ContributorI don't appear to have those options when I open settings?
I see:
Options for responses
Accept responses
Start date
End date
Set time duration
Shuffle questions
Show progress bar
Hide Submit another response
Customise thank you message
Response receipts
Allow receipt of responses after submission
Get email notification of each response

Tammyj79 I suspect that SaadMarkou was referring to the old Forms Pro (now Customer Voice). The method he describes is not in standard Microsoft Forms. We never use the notifications from Forms but always build a flow in Power Automate which allows us to add our company logo and completely tailor the email.
