Are quizzes in Forms now case sensitive?

Hi,

I have been using Forms successfully in lessons to set quizzes for students.

My view for checking answers has now changed and answers are now case sensitive.

Here is an example:

Here, the students have clearly typed in the correct answer, but in lower case and not been given the mark, I have had to manually add the mark.

Here is another example:

This has only recently started to happen.

It is very time consuming to now check all answers and confuses the students when they initially look at their results to see it marked wrong.

Does anyone know what is going on?

Update: It also seems to be applying this retrospectively so it has remarked all previous assessments and students now lost marks if case does not match answer.

Update: It is marking things that should be correct wrong as well

kevsalt yes it does appear that responses are now case-sensitive.

This is really annoying, particularly since it appears to apply to all previous quizzes too, thus changing scores for students unless we now manually grade them or add all possible case combinations in the answers.

Surely it would be best to have an option to make them case sensitive if need on a question by question basis.
